A number of my participants are getting the following error when trying to load / run an Inquisit Web study (linked via Sona).  Other are not having this issue, so I'm not sure what the technical issue is here.  Any help will be appreciated.  (They are NOT using Chrome or Linux OS):

WIC is the Windows Imaging Component, a built-in Windows operating system component that's used by applications (including Inquisit) to render images. There's an issue with that component on those participants' machines. It's either outdated (it's updated through regular Windows Update) or they're running an older Windows version (e.g. Windows 7). Some WIC versions react badly to non-standard or faulty metadata in images, and that is likely what is causing the error on those systems. If you strip your images of any metadata, it should work fine.
