Dear Dave,

I am conducting an online experiment using Inquisit web. So far, it worked for some participants, but for some of them, the program crashes directly in the beginning. The error message is quite cryptic to me, I attached it to the post and hope that you can help. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the experiment is run by multiple participants simultaneously?

Thanks in advance,
Hannah

Ok, apparently the picture cannot be displayed. the error message just shows a lot some random signs in a row.

Hi Dave,
I was not able to recreate the error message with my keyboard, but we have now another error message. It shows this: OpenGL Error: Failed to create QOpenGL TextureBitter. Function bool_cdecl Inquisit: Graphics.prepareOpenGL(struct Inquisit Graphics Monitorinfo*.int) File graphics.cpp Line 915 GL Error Codes GL_OUT_OF_Memory
Maybe you can help out :)
Best,
Hannah

It's an issue with the respective system's graphics card. It's either too weak and old or doesn't even support the required OpenGL standard. Updating the driver may or may not fix this. Note, too, that the system in question is running Windows 7, which is not officially supported anymore. Inquisit 6 assumes Windows 10 as the minimum requirement (cf. https://www.millisecond.com/products/inquisit6/requirements.aspx ).
