Hello,
https://mili2nd.eu/sywb
I have a set up a go/no-go task where a participant sees a picture of a face, followed by a sound clip, followed by the face changing expression, a brief flash, then a picture of a face that they have to respond to. There are instructions on screen throughout. On the response face, I want them to either press the spacebar or not respond at all. I want the response trial to last for 3000ms regardless of whether they press or do not press. The only thing that should happen upon pressing is that the instructions disappear (so they know the press has registered) but the face picture stimuli (picture.Face_Probe) should remain on the screen for the rest of the trial. I set the face picture to erase=false but it disappears upon pressing along with the instructions.
The instructions disappears by setting a correct message to appear over the instructions that is just a blank box. I thought perhaps this was covering the face picture too but when changing the color it is clear that this is not the case.
I have programmed a similar task before that has worked in the way I am trying now (

so I dont know what is wrong with this version.
Thanks,
Katrina
