Inquisit Team,

We're getting reports of either Spacebar responses not working (for 1 participant) or Ctrl + Q not working (for 1 participant, who had to shut down the computer to exit Inquisit).  Trying to replicate either of these effects.  No errors in the logs.

Best,
Andrew

1) 6.5.1 is outdated, the latest release is 6.6.1 so it would be good to know if this replicates under that version.
2) Inquisit Web doesn't run "in" the browser, so the browser used to visit the launch page is generally not relevant to anything happening during a script.

As for spacebar responses not working, where and when are they not working specifically? E.g. the first instruction page in a script? During trials requiring spacebar response? Not working from the get-go? Or do they stop working suddenly mid-script?

In either case, most likely some other application took away input focus from Inquisit, in which case using ALT+TAB (Windows) or COMMAND+TAB (Mac) should work to give back input focus to Inquisit.

1) Ah yes.  I'll update at some point again.
2) I suppose I was thrown off by the logs reporting the same browser version so I thought that was perhaps important.  But yes it does just download Inquisit Player.  Probably just a coincidence that it was the same browser.

Yeah the RA administering the task said it just didn't work for one participant, so it could just have been a sticky keyboard or something.  Who knows.

Thanks for the quick response and the clarifications.

Best,
Andrew
