I can't find a way to edit scripts with an Inquisit web licence. All instructions I can find pertain to Inquisit Lab. Could someone advise on how to modify test scripts on Inquisit web?

You edit them with Inquisit Lab (no license required, an unregistered installation will do just fine). You can then upload the edited script to your Inquisit Web experiment.
