New to Millisecond- Controls Change?

My lab is considering purchasing a license to run a few of the tasks, including the Montreal Imaging Stress Test and a forced decision making task. However, when I downloaded the free version to see if the tasks worked as we liked, I encountered an issue. The tasks were set up to use a mouse, however since we are going to be running a fMRI during the tasks, a mouse would not be compatible. I saw no simple way to change the controls in the editable fields. We are really only considering the software so we won't have any more issues with the scripts we are currently using, so if this issue will require a significant amount of time and energy, it wouldn't make a lot of sense for us. Does anyone have any experience reworking controls like this, and can estimate the time it would take for a novice coder? Additionally, is the software even compatible with fMRI- we want to take pictures at particular times depending on the responses to the task, is that possible to do/? Thanks in advance!

It's not terribly hard to change the input from mouse to keyboard if you're willing to invest a little time in learning Inquisit's language (cf. https://www.millisecond.com/support/Inquisit%20Programmer's%20Manual.pdfInquisit%20Programmer's%20Manual.pdf ).
