+x+x+x+x+xHello everyone(Dave), When I was running the task, I found that the yellow planet would default to the right monster regardless of whether I clicked on the left monster or the right monster. Maybe there was a line in the code that had some minor detail in it, and I tried to find it but failed because I didn't understand the code very well. Can you show me how to change it ?In addition, I would like to ask whether the guidance language in the experiment can be changed to Chinese and where to change it ? Thanks so much in advance for any help ! As the experiment progressed (presumably in the latter half of the block), the monster on the left of the purple planet could no longer be chosen, meaning that no matter which side was chosen in the experiment, it would be assumed that the right side was chosen. Which version of the task and Inquisit version are you referring to? 6 or 7? Web or Lab? Inquisit 7 Can this problem be solved by using inquisit 6? I downloaded lab.I found the error in the description bar of the code, but I don't know where to look at the code of this part of the error content. Thanks for the version info. There's a mistake in two <trial> elements in the Inquisit 7 version of the script -- necessary changes were overlooked in two places when the script was ported to Inquisit 7. The Inquisit 6 version does not have this issue. A fixed version will be available in the library in due course. In the meantime, I can provide you with the fixed version here (attached below). If you are using Inquisit Web, upload the attached script to your web experiment, which will replace the original, faulty file. If you are using Inquisit Lab, replace the twostepdecisiontask.iqjs file in the directory on your computer with the one attached below. +x+x+x+x+xHello everyone(Dave), When I was running the task, I found that the yellow planet would default to the right monster regardless of whether I clicked on the left monster or the right monster.
