Hello,

I've noticed IP addresses show very different numbers in the "download participants" file in the Participant Log than the 'live' webpage version of the Participant Log - not only are dots missing but the numbers in the downloaded file are completely different and don't seem to be accurate. Is there a way for me to ensure the numbers in the log are exporting correctly? I need to check several hundred results and being able to use the bulk download file would be extremely helpful. Alternatively, is there code I should be putting in the scripts themselves so that IP address is included with other metadata in the data exports? I've looked at both the inquisit documentation and the forum and haven't been able to find what would seem like the applicable code.

I'm using Inquisit 6 if that matters.

Thanks in advanced!
Carli

Thanks for pointing this out. The IP address data is intact, the problem is that the value in the CSV is essentially a decimal (base 10) representation of the IP address you see in the web view. This is not intended, and I'll ask the team to fix the exporter ASAP to have addresses displayed identically in both.

The fix for this is being rolled out to all regions at the time of writing, and should be live everywhere within 30 minutes at the latest.

Thank you Dave, I appreciate your team working to correctly this quickly! I've just redownloaded the logs (I tried both download participants and download all events) and I'm not seeing the IP addresses - the files still have the converted version of the IP as before for me. Do I have to do something to get them to refresh for the update? Thanks!

Seems the update push failed partway through the first time. It's redeployed now and should be fixed for real.

Thank you Dave! It's working for me now!
