+x jgordon - 2/26/2025Hi,I have am putting together and experiment including two task (essentially two IATs for ease of understanding). I want the order of these two tasks to be counterbalanced for participants, so have used a batch file to alternate the order of these tasks. However, my issue is that within each tasks the order of blocks also needs to be counterbalanced. Previously (before deciding to run both tasks within the same experiment) I had been using the <expt> element such as to counterbalance the order of blocks within each task. However, now within my batch file whenever either of the files containing these tasks (and the <expt> element) run, the experiment will immediately close after and not run any subsequent files in the batch.I am suspecting this is just a reality that <expt> cannot be used within a batch file (and through searching suspect perhaps others have encountered this: https://forums.millisecond.com/Topic25310.aspx) but I was wondering if anyone had thoughts on how to resolve this issue, and counterbalance both the ordering of blocks within tasks and subsequently the ordering of tasks themselves. If I understand correctly perhaps the <include> element could be utilised but that appears to be a significant amount of work to get running so if there is a simpler solution that would be greatly appreciated.Cheer
