Many thanks, Dave. We were able to get the project running on Friday and everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Thanks from both of my collaborators and myself!

Hi all,

this one is quite vexing and time-critical, unfortunately, as we have a large data collection wave planned next week.

On experiment id 79039 ("prodi_data_collection"), we recently downloaded the scipt onto 30 Huawei tablets (MatePad 10s). At that time, the downloaded script seemed to work (as reported by my research assistants). Today, we tested several tablets. The script showed as downloaded (checkmark next to "Oflline") in the app, but when we started it without a network connection, we initially got an error that Inquisit couldn't communicate with the license server (this is a new one for me). So we connected the tablets to the network and tried again. Unfortunately, we got different (nonspecific) error messages ("Inquisit has encountered an error while running the script"). Checking the local logs, it appears one of the script files present in the web experiment ("anfang_stopp.iqx") was not found ("No such file or directory"). However, I have verified that the file is in the web storage for the experiment and the experiment runs on a laptop as of ten minutes ago. Any ideas?

You were probably served an out of date IQZIP from a cache that didn't have all of the latest uploads. This can happen in rare occasions. I've regenerated a fresh IQZIP for your experiment, verified that it's complete, and verified the caches are serving the complete IQZIP.

Uncheck the offline box on the tablets, then reenable it, and that should fix the problem.
