Hi all,
I'm new here and have just finished collecting data for my research using Inquisit. Can anyone teach me how to import all my data into SPSS?
Thanks :)
Welcome!
You can open the raw data file directly into SPSS using the standard File->Open->Data... command from the SPSS application. Select the type of file (*.dat or *.*). Then you'll see a wizard asking you basic questions about the file, such as whether it has column labels (yes) and whether it's fixed width or delimited (delimited), etc.
Alternatively, you can process the raw data in SPSS using a command file. Are you running an IAT task? If so, this sample command file will compute scores for each participant (iat command file). Even if you are not doing an IAT, the command file will show you some basic commands for opening and analyzing data in SPSS.

Hello,
I'm interested in the sample command (iat command file) for computing iat scores but the link does not work... May you indicate the new link for that file?
Thank you very much,
Best regards,
Phil
SPSS syntax files are available from the IAT pages in the Inquisit Task Library.
For Inquisit 3: http://www.millisecond.com/download/samples/v3/IAT/default.aspx.
For Inquisit 2: http://www.millisecond.com/download/samples/v2/default.aspx.
