Hi,

I've written a script that includes playing eight 60-second videos. I'm working on a PC and the files are MOV and the codec is H.264. When I get to the point where the videos should play, sometimes they do but other times the program quits with an "Inquisit has stopped working" message. I have tried running it in version 4 and 3 and the same error occurs, though before I updated the test machine to 4, the error message said it was a runtime error. I can, however, get the program to run all the way through on a Mac in 4 without any errors.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

You need to make sure the Windows machine has proper DirectShow filters installed to render the videos. MOVs are notoriously problematic under WIndows, so you might be better of with a different format such as WMV.
