Group: Forum Members Posts: 5, Visits: 17	I have paid for four Inquisit licenses and need to collect data repeatedly from a number of participants but I have realised that the symbol-number pairings are not randomised and I am worried about the potential learning effects that this will have. Does anyone know if there is a way to randomise these pairings? Cheers

Group: Administrators Posts: 1.3K, Visits: 5.9K	We're looking into randomizing the Digit Symbol Task. To avoid learning effects, we're thinking it's best to vary not only the digit-symbol mappings but the order of symbols in the matrix. Towards that end, it would be easier for us to simply create N variations of the script with different mappings and orders, and as it turns out, we already have these in hand anyway. How many times will your participants be taking this test? -Sean
