Hi Inquisit Team,
I programmed a script on my one computer and my videos (mp4) run fine on this machine (as well as on another one in the lab). When I transfer it over to another computer though, the script runs without any errors - yay for this - as if the video is playing as it should, but it's just a blank white screen. I've installed the proper codecs and everything. I also programmed it in an updated version of 4.0 ... any ideas what might be going on?

Thanks,

Nick

(1) Make sure that the Inquisit version is the same & up-to-date on all those machines.
(2) If the issue persists after ensuring (1), it almost certainly *is* a codec issue. Double-check that the proper codecs have indeed been installed system-wide. Also make sure that the system is actually using those codecs, not some alternative / broken ones.
(3) If you can't resolve it using the above, the workaround is to convert your videos to a format that will work out of the box under Windows (e.g. WMV) because the respective codecs are shipped / installed with the operating system by default.
