(1) Make sure that the Inquisit version is the same & up-to-date on all those machines. (2) If the issue persists after ensuring (1), it almost certainly *is* a codec issue. Double-check that the proper codecs have indeed been installed system-wide. Also make sure that the system is actually using those codecs, not some alternative / broken ones. (3) If you can't resolve it using the above, the workaround is to convert your videos to a format that will work out of the box under Windows (e.g. WMV) because the respective codecs are shipped / installed with the operating system by default.
