Hi,
I have a few scripts registered on the and one of my potential participants is saying that she is getting the error message 'application's digital signature has expired'.
The script runs when I test it on my machine. Any ideas why she might be getting this error?
Cheers,
D
She might have an outdated certificate cached on her machine. I'd try removing any stored certs (google "clear java certificates" for directions re. different platforms) and see if that fixes the problem.
Hi Dave,
I've chased this up and it's not a stored certs problem. i've emptied my own cache entirely and when I try to do one of my own online studies (which I only put online about a week ago, using Inquisit Web Edition 4, the digital certificate that comes with it has expired - see attached screen shot. I'm concerned that some of my participants may have security settings that prevent them running applications without verified signatures, which might explain why so many people are complaining that this won't run on their machine?
