As far as I am aware clearing the Flash cache as outlined here has resolved the issue in the few cases reported so far. I would first suggest you repeat the cache deletion process (and perhaps throw in a system reboot for good measure). If that does not help, let us know and we will take it from there.
I am receiving the same error message as described above. It persists even after clearing the cache, and clearing the Flash cache. I have now tried to upload the additional files on three different computers, using IE, Firefox, Chrome, and a brand new install of Safari. It is not, alas working in any configuration. Please advise on how I can get my files uploaded - I have now spent over four hours simply trying to get some additional files loaded.
Thanks in advance,
Kristin
It's some sort of cache corruption issue, I'm not sure about the exact cause.
As for clearing Flash cache in Chrome, see e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwNRXrXO8h4.
Firstly, thanks for your help!
It's weird: I cleared the cache and afterwards it still was not working in Chrome and Firefox. I then tried Safari and it worked.
Good enough for me but I still don't understand what's going on.
Clear your Flash player's local cache as per http://forums.adobe.com/message/4278569. Then retry uploading the files and let us know the result.
Hello,
when trying to upload *.jpg files to my experiment I get the following error message:
"An Security Error, 'securitySandboxError' occurred. May be you trying to upload/download files outside current domain (See "Cross Domain Security" section in manual)"
The problem may not be Inquisit itself but I can't work out how to fix it or get around it. I am currently still using Inquisit 4 web beta (4.0.0.1). I tried in Chrome and Firefox, my operating system is OS X (10.8.2).
Does any one have an idea what's going on and know a solution?
Thanks :)
